Just say something. Don't be afraid to protect your right to privacy. It's your room too. The girl isn't paying to stay in that room. If your roommate won't back down, take it to an RA. He'll back down pretty quickly then unless he's a fuckin idiot.

No, putting a live web cam in a room you have access to is NOT against the law. You are only doing it to make sure no one is in there except authorized persons. You give out the IP so that your buddies can look out for you when you are too busy.
