A woman pleaded not guilty to charges she sexually exploited a 15-year-old girl she used to coach in soccer. In a videotaped police interview, the girl said she and Jillian Maureen Anderson, 23, hung around together and exchanged emails. During one soccer trip, the girl said Anderson tickled her on a hotel bed. On their return home, they began exchanging emails, which her parents eventually found. There was no contact between the two for six months until September last year when they resumed seeing each other.

Anderson broke up with her boyfriend and later suggested they "try dating." The relationship evolved from kissing and hugging to sex. The girl claimed she never said no.

I actually don't find anything wrong with this either, but if the 23 yr old was a male, I would find it wrong and maybe so would some of you?

yes for some reason I would find it less than ok, but still, even though I know it's unlawful, think of how these 15 yr olds are these days - they are going to be willingly sexually active with somebody anyway.

I see this as a contradiction of your earlier statement that I quoted above. On what grounds do you justify the difference between not finding it wrong when an adult female is sexually invloved with a male who is still a minor vs an adult male having sex with an under age girl.

The second highlighted section of your statement sounds like a double standard.

This isn't a hot 23 year old teacher having sex with a 15 year old male - this is a 23 year old female teacher taking advantage of a hormonal, sexually confused 15 year old female for her own pleasure. I'll bet you that this 15 year old girl doesn't even know if she is gay or not.

If this 23 year old female coach seduced a 15 year old male player - well - now you have the american dream.

No shit!! I have two issues - 1.) My wife is a high school teacher and we chaperone dances every now and again and - 2.) My company does a lot of construction work in the local high schools which requires me to visit them from time to time.
I found the BEST thing to do with these sexually charged teenagers (even though some of them look 25) is to pretend like I didn't even hear them talking to me. They could walk right up to my face and start talking - I just turn and walk away without saying one damn word. My ass ain't gettin sued!!

I disagree with your claims. A significant number and incidently a rapidly increasing number of women are infact sexual predators. I just returned from a briefing from my state's attorney general's office task force on internet preditors.

While the number of male interenet sex offenders and predators in general, far exceeds the number of female sex offenders and predators, the number of adult female sex offenders and predators is high enough that it can not be considered a mere fluke or an insignifcant statistical anomoly.


As many of you know, Myspace is a sex offender's supermarket. In my opinion, my space is very neglegent in protecting children and identifying registered sex offenders who have my space pages. Myspace has tried to play off how difficult it is to trace the number of registered sex offenders are registered myspace users.

To prove how utter BS myspace's position is, a computer pragrammer developed a program to examine the sex offender registries of all 50 states and then to find matches on myspace using a given offenders name and various aliases. The results were astonishing to say the least.

For the most part, Women do not use myspace to find victims to prey on as to male offenders. However, female sex offenders use the internet and myspace ect to keep tabs on thier victims and to extend their control over their victims. It is just too easy for these woman to use fake id/my space accounts to stay in contact with their victim that they are involved sexually with or with a potential victim that they are grooming or preparing to have sex with.

The biggest boon to sex offenders who prey on kids are the new peer to peer file sharing networks such as Limewire. Parents can not use filters on this type of activity and there are far fewer means to track who a person has been incontact with and what information has been exchanged via these peer to peer networks

However, the population of female sex offenders and pedophiles is alive, well and growing. Butterfly Kisses is an organization of women who like NAMBLA believe in a "sex by eight or it is too late" mantra. Butterfly Kisses along with the female/mothers branch of NAMLA openly endorse adult females having sex with children who have not yet reached puberty. These women are pedophiles in the true sense of the word. However, these women argue that what they are doing is not criminal and that the rest of society is just too narrow minded on this subject.

There is a great deal of cultural denial surrounding the whole idea of the female sex offender and the female pedophile. In many ways this is one of the last few taboos that society is reluctant to open its eyes to, and some of the research and findings in the field of female sex offenders has been spurned by the feminist movement.

The movie Antwone Fisher has done a great deal to open the eyes and minds to whose who are not able to accept females as sexual predators as well as how a boys life is ofen scarred by a sexually predatory female.

Some of the recent studies that I have perused through indicate that while there are many more male sex offenders and male pedophiles than there are women sex offenders/pedophiles, the number of adult female sex offenders and female pedophiles is increasing at a dramatic rate.

So to bring this back around full circle, I find what this teacher/coach did to this teen age girl is reprehensible and criminal as well and that the Teacher/Coach is a sex offender- and by definition not a pedophile. In addition, if the legal age limits are fitting with the scenario, this teacher/coach should be tried for statuatory rape.
