i Fu@%!&g HATE Failure

jkurz1 - good point. i tried.

Beast - i will kill it.

i've put some thought into this, i'm going to go for a 305 attempt this week. if i can't get 305, then i'm gonna be ultra ticked off, but that'll tell me that i need to go even lower, maybe down to 295. i'd love to break 300 on my squats. that'd be a real boost for me.

i'd also like to flat bench 225, last max was 200 back in late november. i put 200 up 3x, barely, but i did. this past week, i did 195 1x5, 1x4, 1x2, 1x2, and then not even one rep. i think i'm good for 225 for 2 or 3 reps, but i'd really like to see 245. i think it's gonna be a few more months for that, dunno.

Deads i'm kind of hesitant to go real heavy with. my max so far is 235 x 5. any max deadlift attempts are going to be with a weight i can move for 3 reps. if i can get more than 3 reps, i know i can go higher. i don't want to do a 1 rep max with deads. i think there's just too much risk involved....especialy since i do them RAW.

oh yeah, same with all those squats, completely RAW except for the barbell pad. i stopped using a belt 4 months ago.

thanks for the support. i'm gonna try to kill it again next friday.

ok, i'm ultra sore from yesterday's squat attempt.

i also did Stiff Leg Deads off the floor. normally i do them in the rack on the lowest setting, but 2 people were waiting for the rack, so i let them have it.

i think all they wanted to do was pullups in the rack though.

Good plan brother!! Its easy to get obsessed with 3 or 4 plates per side and just want to jump up 20lbs or more. 300 is right there though, and youll get it and then you can progress to 315 within a few weeks. TRAIN OR FUCKIN DIE!!!!!!

315, is also my goal. its increadibly unrealistic, but i hoping i can do it by summer. im going up pretty fast, last time i barely maxed 225 twice, and today i did it pretty normally 3 times after large reps and i dont really rest in between anything i do for more than 30 second sto a minute.

yeah 225 is also my flat bench goal but same unrealism as above

what makes those goals unrealistic? When I first started training I never thought I would be where I was today, I just kept working at it.

Homeostasis will never be achieved with goals, thats the beauty of it. If you were satisfied with where you are then you wouldnt have a desire to train harder to reach your goals.

keep on squattin'
