I bought a large bottle Burleans (sp?) flax oil about a month and a half ago. There is an exp. date on the bottle of 10/20. Now, I've read quite a few posts on here saying that flax will go rancid after 30 days.
I also read here that you should shake up the bottle before taking it, which I did. But after I did that, it went from a regular brown/orange sort of vegetable oil color to a darker, greyer color.
Should I throw this stuff out? I wouldn't be asking if the expiration date weren't on there. Plus I know that Burleans is a good brand.
