This was done Fri of last week:

T-Bar: warmup 2 45's 15 reps

5x5 3 45's and 25( fairly easy, but a starting pt)

Dbel Rows: 2 sets 10 w/100's

Shrugs: 2 sets 10 w/ 315( superset w/ 100's dbls )

Pull downs to front: 2 sets 10
Pull down to back of head: 2 sets 10

Tris:

Dips: 5x5 w/ 75's on dipping belt( pretty easy, will do 100's next week )

skulls: 2 sets 10 w/ 45's

One arm overhead ext: 2 sets 10 w/ 35's

rope pushdowns: 2 sets 10

The 5x5 is challenging to me because it forces me to slow the movements down. My stamina is is pretty good due to the 10-12 rep scheme I have been doing for so long. Let me know what you all think of this workout. I think I may be going to light on the actual 5x5 compound movements. I had no idea what weight to start at. Peace.

I do SLDL w/ legs and CG bench I will alternate on tri day w/ dips. Dips have always been a great compound movement for me. I used to deadlift when I was in high school for football but honestly never really cared for them, just me.

Great to find a routine that gets you motivated to train!! Im liking the 5X5 alot, incorporated in my bench routines with lots of extra volume. The progression principles of the routine are great, especially coming off of an injury. Im going for 315 for 5X5 this week on flat bench. Keep it up brother!!
