The ACLU Is Fighting For The 'Right' For Women To Go Topless In Public

seperation from church and state?

you think thats bad?

Do some research big guy

Yes, I think its bad. The law was meant to say the state shouldn't mess with the church not vise a versa. Also what do you think about their stance on guns or should I say LACK of stance on Guns. They are evil don't kid yourself. I mean they are lawyers too. They have to be evil.

The law is there so that your religion should have no influence over how the state deals with me and vice-a-versa.

IMO 99.95% of all southern baptist are hypocritical sacks of shit and have no business dictating morals or laws to anyone!

just because the ACLU does'nt spend their resources defending our right to bear arms does'nt make them evil

who are you to say how any law is to be interpreted?

sounds like you have some serious issues, it seems like anything that you don't like or don't understand or agree with can easily be explained as "evil"

it must suck living in such fear

Well do you think it means that we shouldn't be able to sing Silent Night on the courthouse steps?

the reason our forefathers wanted seperation from church and state is because in england people were jailed for not worshiping as christians, and they wanted the freedom to worship (or not) freely and the best (only) way to ensure this is to seperate church from state

so your interpetation is wrong

our forefathers were pro freedom not pro christian

I believe you are mistaken. I believe they were jailed for not being worshiping as Catholics. I believe in freedom too. I don't think the govt should interfere or force people to worship. But I don't think that our forefathers would have minded the 10 commandments on the courthouse steps.

Back to the issue at hand, why is it OK for men to take their shirt off at the beach but not women? They do it in Miami and nobody seems to mind.

the first amendment...

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. . . ."

at the time of its drafting, an "establishment of religion" meant preference by government of one or more religions over others...

the first congress...which proposed the first amendment for ratification by the states...also appointed chaplains for the house, senate, and the armed forces...

early congresses regularly petitioned the president to issue Thanksgiving Day proclamations addressed to God...

the framers and ratifiers could not have envisioned that a supreme court sitting in a courtroom with a painting of Moses and the Ten Commandments to prohibit the display of them in a state courthouse...

more liberal fascism...

the lost art of reading...this is why bonerboy received
this week's award...

you have to understand what the aclu is about...

radical individualism...that is the absence of limits
on self gratification...sounds great doesnt it???

until you realize what their end sum goal is...

think!!!

do students want to take all those classes???

do people possess the capacity to make rational
judgments regarding heroin use???

do people want to get up and go to work???

do murders have the first amendment right
to kill others???

isnt all the above just a form of self-expression protected by the first amendment???

end sum is anarchy...to which the libs will respond with
a totalitarian regime that is "just" because it is based
on compassion...just like stalin's compassion...

and im not even touching on a majority of 9 LAWYERS (not subject to replacement by free elections), who have never functioned in the REAL WORLD overriding the wishes of the people as expressed through their lawfully elected legislators...

think!!!
