i find this absurd primarily because i don't know many women who are even willing to walk around topless, let alone pushing for legislation to 'allow' them to do so.

I think it is important to respect other peoples cultures. If the US wants diversity, then we need to accept the fact that clothes aren't all that common in certain areas of the world. Diversity is what makes this nation great, ya know.
