I puked in the middle of my workout the other day (made it to the bathroom--whew!), and I often feel really close. I know this is supposed to mean that I'm working hard and all, but all I could think of was how much that vomit was costing in terms of money and nutrients. It was maybe an hour and a quarter after taking protein, creatine, glutamine, ribose, citrulline malate, MCT oil, cla, and nutricom (a multivitamin/mineral powder w/ aminos), and a couple of hours after ATP. So, what was absorbed already and what was lost? How long does it take these things to get into my blood? (The stuff was clear and bright yellow, if that helps.) And should I take something after I throw up--more protein, Gatorade, something else?
I did a search on every word I could think of for this and couldn't find it, so I don't think it's been covered in an earlier thread.
