Just found out a friend of mine got attacked by a dog

A friend of hers got a lab/chow mix from the animal shelter. Last night it attacked her and chewed up her arm and leg a bit. She'll be okay, but had to go to the ER.

So, what the quickest way to kill a dog of this size without using a gun? I'm thinking a bat to the head to knock it out and a foot on the throat to suffocate it.

I think I'll go with aluminum because I don't want the bat to splinter on the first shot.

have Frackal go over there, tell the dog he works out, and flex a bi. it should die from the resulting laugh attack followed by cardiac arrest. just be sure you're not looking at frackal because the same thing can happen to you. then drop him back off at GNC and thank him for his time. or just kick him

I hate to hear that. So often shelter dogs are overlooked. This is another example of what can happen when you don't know how tha animal was raised. Glad your friend will be ok.

Return the dog to the shelter to ensure it does not carry rabies. They will euthanize the animal.

there ya go.. that's the way to handle another living creature.. because for one.. you're of a higher status on this earth.. and as such.. have the right to kill anything non-human without remorse or penalty... and secondly.. it must be the dog's fault.. not the girl's or the previous owners...

I do think that the animal shelter is a wonderful place to get quality animals. However, I would be leery of bringing home an adult animal of that size.

decem - If that dog attacked someone within one month of being in a home, it will do it agina. You can't reason with an animal and tell it it did a bad thing and should never do it again. In the dog's eyes, it felt the need, for whatever reason, to attack. Since it was unhurt and accomplished it's goal of wounding it's target, it will be bolder in it's next attack. Do you want that attack to be on you or your kids. The animal needs to be put down for public safety. If the law won't do it, I will. I wouldn't enjoy it. I wouldn't look forward to it. But it has to be done. Get off your high horse.
