Went to go do some Barbell shrugs, loaded three 45lb plates and a 10lb plate on one side, then loaded 2 45lb plates and one 10lb plate on the other side. Sat there for a minute to try and concentrate and totally forgot to put a 45lb playe on the other side. Give a load grunt, pull the weight up and one side of the bar comes crashing down due to uneven weight.
The following week I decide to do some close grip barbell on the bench, loaded up 2 45's on each side. I should have asked for a spotter. As I was nearning my 6th rep I go to put the weight up and one arm locked out while I was able to get the other side of the bar up on the ledge. So I basically had to drop the bar and one side comes crashing down pinning me to the bench. As I slid from under the weight a few people are looking at me and I screamed you can't help somebody out when their in trouble? WHAT THE FUCK??
