Anyone totally made an ass out of themselves at the gym?

I tride to bench 385 once with out a spotter.lol couldent get it up so I just sat there till some guy came over and helped me out.lolol
 
My dumbass pulled 4 plates off of one side while ther were still 4 on the other side in a squat rack once. I think I got more of a kick out of it than anyone else. It helps when there is a lot of weight on the bar bc what are the curl and bench crew gonna say.


I feel like a dumbass sometimes just by the way people look at me when I do floor presses or use bands.

i was doing pullovers for the first time and didn't get the bench high enough on my back, lowered the weight behind me and i went with it...

just gotta get up and try again...

The following week I decide to do some close grip barbell on the bench, loaded up 2 45's on each side. I should have asked for a spotter. As I was nearning my 6th rep I go to put the weight up and one arm locked out while I was able to get the other side of the bar up on the ledge. So I basically had to drop the bar and one side comes crashing down pinning me to the bench. As I slid from under the weight a few people are looking at me and I screamed you can't help somebody out when their in trouble? WHAT THE FUCK??
Yo, I feel you, most people are bastards. I saw some kid last week bench pressing. He put too much weight and on the first rep couldn't get the bar up. He was turning purple and no one around him gave a shit so I ran up to help him.
 
This wasn't at a gym, but on my patio. I loaded the bar to do squats, about 415, and only put one collar on. I got under the bar, lifted it off the rack and because of the bend in the bar, the weights on one side slid off and hit the concrete. Now the bar swings violently upward and strikes the overhang before finally crashing to the floor. My family thought a car had hit the house.
 
haha when i used to squat ( before injuring my knee) if someone walked by that i didnt like id give them a big protein fart on my way back up!!!

no but farts grunting when maxing out is aout it.
 
On the bench press pulled off too many plates from one side at a time on the barbell which caused the bar and the weights on the other side to flick off the stand and nearly hit a couple people :worried: damn i felt stupid, and sorry for the couple people it nearly hit.
 
When I was in high school I was 6'1" and around 145lbs wet. I was working out in the school gym and knocked over the chalk all over the place - I felt like a total moron (it was a big jug of chalk too).
 
We have tanning beds at my gym, and the people who use them have to walk through the gym to get to them, well one day I was in the squat rack doing some push presses and the most hot chick walked in the door, I couldn’t stop looking, well, while I was doing my reps I smashed my chin with the bar, it caused me to bite through my bottom lip, I started bleeding, thought I was going to pass out. The girl looked at me like WTF... I had to finish my set. I acted like nothing happened, walked into the bathroom, I bit all the way through my bottom lip. Maid a total ass of myself, changed my clothes and called it a day.
 
Last night, went in to finally bench 235 3x5. Two friends there making fun of me, both bench 400+. Warm-up, things feel good, load the bar up. Unrack, feels real light, crank out 5 no problem. Thinking I'm the man, I go to pick up my journal, and there it is, the damn 5 I didn't put on. It was an uneven 230.

I did salvage what was left of my dignity by still getting 235 3x5.
