9/11 update this morning on news.....

That is what I was thinking. Like I said I was hoping I heard that wrong. I don't even know anyone that lives there and I cried through all the stories. I hope none of the ef members had or have to go through anything like that.

Like I said though, 5 years dead. Life goes on. I'd be happier than sad just to have some closure. Watch a bunch of law suits come of this. Sue the city for not looking hard enough.

True...I think you are so very right on that one.

are u actually picking on me in this thread? u r just NOT right!!
u r a very mean man KB

Faux sincerity based on glamorous tragedies does nothing for me.

Cry over the homeless. Or over the millions of other people who die everyday on earth. Move passed your "news at 6:00" world if you really want to make an impact.

I still don't get how finding someone that's 5 years dead is like having them die all over again.
From what I hear, losing a loved one with a missing body leaves a gap in the grief/mourning process -- especially when a child dies before the parent. People irrationally deny the idea that the loved one is even dead. They also become fixated on "bringing that person home" -- very common with the bodies of MIA/KIA troops as well.

So my guess would be finding remains there probably kicked-in a lot of "Oh my poor little so-and-so is still there at the site."

That would be a bitch to have it completely restart, but I'd imagine that's a bit extreme. I could see it stirring up emotions, but I'd imagine relief that they finally know would be up there. Luckily I've never really had to go through anything like this, so I'm definitely no expert.
