I got down to 1% bodyfat for the day of the Nationals. Try switching up the reps and sets.........several weeks into the pre-contest diet I was doing sets of 100 reps with light weights. Gave me the extra cardio work and endurance build up that I needed to really tap into the muscles for that hard and grainy muscular look to be in the best shape I could be on that very day.
