Tempo?

Needhelp

Do you guys use a slow tempo for your lifts? I've heard using one thousand one, one thousand two is good for the lowering portion of the lift and for the raising portion, 4 seconds is good.

I think I might try this, should I do it with everything, even squats, deadlifts, shrugs, etc? Or a different tempo for each?

I don't pay any attention to tempo, other than making sure I lower the weight in a controlled manner, and then explode it upwards.
