There is no situation on earth that gets her a pass in my book. There should be a condition on that abandonment law: you can abandon your child at the hospital, but not until that hospital permanently sterilizes you.

I can't help but laugh when I hear shit like this. I can picture my parents and I locking horns when I was a teenager, filled with angst and ennui, and hearing them say something like, "If you're not back in this house by 1AM, we will drive your gay ass to Nebraska and leave you there!" Had Nebraska been closer to Virginia, they probably would have, but only for about 30 minutes or so.

Hello McFly.....did you not see the guy who dumped 9 of his 10 kids off last month.

35 fucking years old, 10 biological kids ages 18 to 2 months. His wife died 7 weeks after giving birth to the youngest, he's unemployed, social services has been to their house a dozen times since the mid 90's.

Who the hell has 10 kids living off a mechanics salary? I know his religion prevents the use of birth control but Jesus would not be bummed if he snipped his boyz

under Nebraska law you can drop unwanted children off at hospitals, fire stations, police departments, etc.. LEGALLY under the safe haven law.

I feel so bad for this kid. Can you imagine having to ride 12 hours in the car with your mom and knowing the entire time she was just throwing you away? You get and she makes you get out of the car and then you watch her drive away.

My heart breaks for this teenager.

Why? Chances are he'll go from single white trash mom household - to upper middle class good neighborhood educated loving foster mom and dad. Maybe even two gays! (assuming they allow that).
