QUESTION FOR EVERYONE!!!

Hair up or down & why/why not?

Side note: I entertained the possiblity of straightening it but like curl falls for some people with straight hair (RIP Long straight Blonde Bunny), I am SURE with all these curls it will NOT fully straighten. I also do NOT really wanna fry my hair by using flat irons and esp NOT color it. That may affect my ability to donate it later down the road.

I'm going to have to pay treil to drive here & do an up do b/c she's AWESOME at those...
comments questions opinions, everyone welcome

:rose:

You would be amazed how your hair will straighten. My friend has hair just like yours and uses a GHD ceramic flat iron (best on the market) with some good hair protector and can get it as flat as a pancake - it looks great. No frying at all!

However, hair is such an important reflection of your personality that maybe natural color, looser natural curls in a Treil special updo, with enough tendrils around the face to soften would suit you.

You need to have a play! Girly fun :)

RANDOM SHOW INFO:

* "No Private Video Taping" <-- That stinks IMO --- Std operating procedure - they usually have someone doing videotaping so you have to buy their CD. This nothing but standard.
* Fresh Fruit & cookies in pump area -- That's nice --but I would pay attention to YOUR diet.. that stuff can screw up your eating schedule.* Seats 850
* Evening Show will be alive with colors & over $3,500 worth of trophies, statues & Award Jackets -- Really nice - nice trophies are fun!
* Theme of the show is "Freedom"
* Evening Show begins at 7 pm sharp
* Competitors will be on stage for intro to audience & national anthem. You'll be in your warmups, so please dress nicely (<--warm ups??) -- You'll be in protan & in your suits - most people wear sweats but they are asking that you don't look like a slob -- I got a black matching pants & sweat jacket - can't get protan on it, it looks nice, etc.My schedule:
9:30 am - Competitor check in, no food or drink allowed in auditorium, coolers can be left in back -- that sux. Make sure you label your stuff so some fucker doesnt' steal your potato...
Pre judge is not until 12:30 p.m. --You can expect a pre-judge meeting prior to that. I guess plan your meals for that day & food you bring accordingly...

Hey Girl!

Have not been online in a while...CONGRATS on making the commitment to your first show! Nsashbl and I will be there to cheer you on :)...GOOD LUCK!!!!! I am in Chicago so if you need anything in the preparation please let me know. I also know of a VERY GOOD TRAINER...but she is out of Chicago...don't know how far away you live from the city. She is THE BEST POSING coach in my opinion and believe me....I went through alot of them. I know she has helped MANY girls prepare for figure shows.
