I am just going to start to flood this with questions & comments & requests for help, so please bare with me ... :)

I was going to still look into private instruction for yoga & pilates to help with conditioning for the posing, and to help me look long, lean & flexible ... when I don't stretch properly I feel short & tight (perfect example hip flexors from sitting all day.) I am seriously considering paying someone for some sessions, either at my gym or spa 2-3 times a week to MAKE me commit to those aspects of my training. I think it will also help sanity issues. :evil:
 
good idea....my hip flexors are always tight...and having someone help stretch you is really helps you out!

p.s. i'm for hire :)

LOL ... I seriously need to pay someone to stretch me LOL ... AT one gym we have this jungle-gym like stretch station, it helps :) I stretch in b/w sets but I NEED MORE ... :D

Im stretching my hip flex's now & going to do Scorp's Calf Raises lol :D
 
if i starting stretching my hip flexors right now i'd prob take some heat.....i got enough harassment this morning for carrying 3 cups of oats with me in a ziplock bag today.... :FRlol:
 
The gym I went to in Minneapolis had trainers who stretched their clients -- its a good thing to do if you can find someone.

Otherwise I'm liking my approach --
- 5 min cardio warmup
- 10 min "drills" -- you do some of that already
- 5-10 min static stretching.

* "No Private Video Taping" <-- That stinks IMO
* Fresh Fruit & cookies in pump area
* Seats 850
* Evening Show will be alive with colors & over $3,500 worth of trophies, statues & Award Jackets
* Theme of the show is "Freedom"
* Evening Show begins at 7 pm sharp
* Competitors will be on stage for intro to audience & national anthem. You'll be in your warmups, so please dress nicely (<--warm ups??)

My schedule:
9:30 am - Competitor check in, no food or drink allowed in auditorium, coolers can be left in back
Pre judge is not until 12:30 p.m.

ORDER OF CHECK IN AND JUDGING​

1 NOVICE - Women 3 classes Men 5 classes
2 GRANDMASTER - Men 2 classes
3 MASTER - Women 3 classes Men 3 classess
4 OPEN Women's - 3 classes
5 OPEN Men's - 5 classes
6 FIGURE - 2 classes

EVENING SHOW​
6:00 P.M. - Doors Open
6:20 P.M. - Roll Call
6:50 P.M. - Instructions on line up
7:00 P.M. - Show Opens, competitors on stage, intro & Nat'l anthem

1) POSING ROUTINES run straight thru in the order
Novice w & m, grandmaster, master w & m followed by the
2) AWARDS for the above divisions & classes
3) GUEST POSER
4) TEAM TROPHY PRESENTATION
5) INTERMISSION (15 min.)
6) WOMEN'S OPEN - Posing & Awards
7) FIGURE - Individual walks, :worried: line ups and Awards (one Piece suits)
8) MEN'S OPEN - Posing & awards
