Another Q on the making of Fina

After making a few batches of Fina I decided to see what the oil tasted like. It had an awful taste which left my throat burning for several minutes. I have tasted Fina that I purchased before and it wasn't as harsh. Did I do something wrong in the making or was the fina I purchased weak and underdosed.

Grind up a pellet and put it in your mouth. See if it burns
