Get it through my head that its perfectly fine to kill somebody? Ok so if I walk out and just randomly shoot someone (2nd degree) opposed to someone who lets say habitually mugs the drunk/homeless? I can't say that I totally blame them for what they did, but when people take the law into their own hands, they must be held accountable. There are laws in the books that we must ALL obey. Otherwise there is chaos. All of us have the right of due process. What happens if there was a situation similar to this where they guy was drunk and was taking a leak by the window of a 5 year old girl. Then someone sees this and thinks he's masterbating while watching this 5 year old girl and a mob proceeds to kill him? I was under the impression that the legal system was supposed to take care of pedophiles and peeping toms. I am also under the impression that we do not operate under a system of mob rule. No one deserves to be put in the ICU...if you see a patient's condition and what they have to go through in an ICU you'd probably agree. Granted he was a pervert, but no one deserves that kind punishment. Jailing for life or extinguishing a pedophiles libido should be enough. Six people could have restrained 1 man for the cops, maybe a few smacks would do the trick but causing enough trauma to be in an ICU...that's way too excessive. Well if he does recover he probably severely neurologically disabled, possibly detering him from further perversions...it might actually be better to die to avoid the humiliation of the crime and the severely decreased quality of life.
