I've been having problems with my left shoulder on and off for the past 10 years. Anytime I get into weight training, as I start pushing heavier weights, I have to back off because of pain for several days in the joint.
Right now I'm experiencing the longest run in the gym without shoulder problems, mainly due to the fact that I'm not doing the same bench routine, and only using dumbells instead of the straight bar. (allows me to push with my wrist at an angle).
Incline and declince cause pain regardless of dumbell or bar.
Can I just stick to flat dumbell presses, or will my pecs look strange without incline/decline.
