Actually it's unethical to talk about your personal experiences with a patient, if my therapist told me he's been through what Ive been and that they ''get me'' Id be quite uncomfortable, because Id fear they'll pawn their solutions on me, therapists need to tailor the session plan based on my info and needs not their experiences...

i have never seen a theropist before. But from life experience, it's those who just listen and aren't quick to give us advice about how to get over the feelings.

I hate hearing that the reason we lost our baby was because "God had a bigger plan" or some of the other stupid shit i would hear. Best help we had was people just shutting up, giving us a hug, and telling us they are praying for us.

So I guess I understand both sides. I don't think you really get or understand a miscariage, divorce, being cheated on, etc unless you actually go through it.

no we aren't at all, still love God. Wife and I pray every day together since it has happen. We don't understand why it has happen. But good things happen to all, and bad things happen to all. We can accept that.
