Well, the conspiracy charge was a joke, but he should have been found guilty on all counts of providing alcohol to minors, as he admitted it.

I don't know if he did what he was accused of doing, but the fact that the accuser's family had made accusations towards others in the past and the fact that they included the abduction and imprisonment charges hurt their credability, at least in the jurors' eyes.

I couldnt agree more. Some of the things he does are taboo to a society but not necessarily illegal. The goverment needs to not feed into it. The prosecution fell apart.

I hope that prosecutor does not get re-elected. Thay was the most pathetic trial I've ever seen. The prosecutor calls witnesses AGAINST the defendant and proceed to tell the jury what a wonderful person he is. What the hell were these prosecutors thinking? This should have never made it to trial. The only evidence was the word of a bunch of established liars as well as a stack of pornos. Come on, the kid first told the cops that Jackson gave him 5 handjobs. Then later said it was "two but could have been more". What? A 13 year old kid is going to know if Michael Jackson gave him 2 handjobs or 5 handjobs. I would imagine that having Michael Jackson "Beat It" isn't something a kid is going to forget about ever!
