Its bullshit like that that is forcing me to wear a uniform in a public school. Now it isn't a big deal, and I'm not crying over it, but for Christ's sake everyone has to bitch about anything. We can't even have brand logos on our clothes b/c someone might get offended.

Children have never enjoyed absolute first amendment rights while in a school setting. The Supreme Court has held that schools have the authority to censor free speech when it means that that speech creates a material disruption.

Rebel flag clearly creates a material disruption. I agree that logos do not create a material disruption....

A school setting is a closed setting. A school must have a way of teaching without chaos present. How else do schools maintain order?
