I haven't been a member long, but it appears to me that these type of threads are nothing but cries for attention.

I think I've only seen one member not come back to EF.

yes, it happens often. I know of a few people that have left and NONE of them made these 5th grade "I'm leaving, you jerks!" threads. Those that make those threads always come back cause of the very reason they made the threads in the first place - attention.
