I bounce but I do it to support my gear habit while in college. I hate fights and I'd much rather look at T and A all night than bust heads with some drunk assholes. I have had to break up a fight with some latino girls recently and that was the worse. They wouldn't let go of each others' hair, so I tried to pry them apart and one had a clump of the other girl's brown curly hair. They were like animals, unfortunately no clothing came off though.

Being that my buddy owns the Thursty Turtle, let me give some people who arent from the area some insight..

1st off smallpp..the only reason you were one of the biggest guys there that night is was because i was NOT there..I was in SI..but thats irrelevant....you should have been the biggest guy there being that the bouncers are all 185lbs and if they are more its cause they are 6 foot 4...the "biggest" bouncer is the guy at the door..hes like 260 but hes fat and in his mid 40's....

so being big at the Turtle is like a pro bodybuilder saying he was the biggest guy at a local natural show...

Most of the bouncers at clubs in Houston are nothing to laugh at. Although, now i am in a small East Tex town and the bouncers here are all college students that i work out with at the only gym here in town. So being 6' @ a hard 250 on AS means there isn't going to be anyone here that can do shit. I have been thinking of getting a job doing that actually.

See thats the reason i always say big is the way to go , nobody respects a small guy(in weight) . think about it if you f'ck over a 160 pound guy whats the worst that can happen to you hell get upset? but if you fuck over a 250 pound guy the worst thign that happens is you eat through a straw the rest of your life. This is why pro bb'ers have probably the biggest ego''s in any pro sport. because there physically then basically everybody else.

The reason why those gorillas who cant fight have such egos is cause no one (the stupid people) will fight them..they think cause they so big they can fight....I seen my buddy whos maybe 170 literally beat the shit out of this one 300lb bodybuilder to the point where i felt bad seeing the big goof ball crawling on his knees with blood and drool pouring out his mouth after the fight was over...thats one reason i love to tease those big goof balls...cause 1/2 of them cant fight if their life depended on it....

one bouncer i met at a club said to me "i cant fight for shit, i just look like I can, thats why they hired me"

one time we went to this club and this big ass boybuilder freak of nature was walking around..later on that night I see one of the fat black bouncers choking him while the bodybuilder drops to his knees and apologizes and kindly walks out on his own lol


its all about the look and perceived fighting ability...according to yours and many other idiots theories....if we had 2 big guys in a fight...one guy is 300lbs and one is 299lbs..according to your and most peoples pethetic logic..the 300lbs guy would have to win hands down ..right? or the guy with the 23 inch arms HAS to be able to beat up the guy with the 22inch arms right?

i've never bounced before, but was offered a job a couple of weeks ago, I still have to answer, I don't know if it is for me or not. Do you guys enjoy your job, or is it "just a job for now thing?"
I don't know if I can deal with stupid people's shit all the time. I didn't think that the place needed one, but they would like to have a bouncer for the weekends.
so question is, does it ever get to the point where you don't want to do it anymore, because of stupid people? I kinda have a low tolerance for ding bats that don't have any common sense and want to slap them asking them what the fuck are they thinking. are there any perks in the job?? besides of course the hot women that go there?

its definatly the small guys who can cause the most pain,most of the time anyway,my buddy is 6'9 about 120 and is a first degree black belt,im taking kung fu at the moment and he can put me down quick

im desperatly looking for a job bouncing but there are maybe 3-4 places in town that have bouncers and they hire monsters for that intimidation factor,and im pretty sure i could cause just as much if not more damage should the need arise
