Anyone totally made an ass out of themselves at the gym?

2 weeks ago at the work gym no one around, last set of lying overhead dumbell presses as I pulled the weight over head to put on stomach to get up arms just failed and caught the bar end of 40kg dumbell right on the nose. Didnt break it but blood flowed freely. So pissed of I punched out another set.
Thought I could get away with no one knowing but good deep cut on nose required I report it to medical centre before goin back to work and then they had to put an incident report in which every one of the 900+ employes gets emailed to them. Will be copin shit 4 that 4 ages. :rolleyes:
 
well, I haven't had anything to embarassing happen to me yet (besides once mis-loading the bar)

the other day in the gym, somebody was going to do decline dumbell presses..he forgot to put his feet under the front things and he slid completely off and his arms slammed backwards

also saw a guy fall backwards while squatting..was kinda scary to see
 
Last night I loaded 315 to do a walk out in the squat rack and then prepared to do 270...
I unloaded 1 45 put on 2 10's and a 2.5
... the other side I added 2 10's and a 2.5

lol... it was obvious before i walked out with it when i lifted it up the left side stayed on the rack, opps :)
 
Was on the leg press, didn't get the right footing and the fucking thing went down too far. Luckily there are stops. Had to unload every single 45, get back under it, and push it back up. That sucked. My quads were shot.
 
man theres some funny stuff here, im a newbie but I got one.

I was on those bench press machines that you sit in and push out. Anyway at the end of the reps my arms are getting tired and I have to push down on my feet to not slip. Well, my left foot slipped and came up and I kicked the shit out of some guy....
 
Went to go do some Barbell shrugs, loaded three 45lb plates and a 10lb plate on one side, then loaded 2 45lb plates and one 10lb plate on the other side. Sat there for a minute to try and concentrate and totally forgot to put a 45lb playe on the other side. Give a load grunt, pull the weight up and one side of the bar comes crashing down due to uneven weight.

The following week I decide to do some close grip barbell on the bench, loaded up 2 45's on each side. I should have asked for a spotter. As I was nearning my 6th rep I go to put the weight up and one arm locked out while I was able to get the other side of the bar up on the ledge. So I basically had to drop the bar and one side comes crashing down pinning me to the bench. As I slid from under the weight a few people are looking at me and I screamed you can't help somebody out when their in trouble? WHAT THE FUCK??
 
I was laying flat on a bench doing legs raises and ripped a loud fart by accident, i was laughing but i was also pretty embarrassed...
 
I had some music blaring on my Ipod and was zoned out pretty bad, and someone left their plates on the squat bar. Not paying attention I unloaded 2 of the 45s on one side, before i caught the bar in my chin and the other side dumped onto a bucket of chalk sending it flying. I picked up what i could and rolled out.

If farting during a heavy lift was a major gym faux pas then almost every one of us would be banned!

Tried to do hanging pull ups and forgot to put it to the heavist weight, went to hang off the cables and came flying down on my ass.

Working with trainer both times hardcore workouts,

1. went to get up and walk and my legs gave out
2. went to do my last push up and arms gave out and fell flat on my face.

:)


I used do pushups UNTIL i fell on my face
Now I turn my head before my face hits the floor
