I have read most of the posts on post-workout meals, but I am wondering what the females among us take...what sort of ratio of protein and carbs is good for a female ie someone not wanting to take in a million calories after a workout, and wanting to lose body fat???
Gotta have carbs AND protein post workout, whether you want to lose BF or not... W/o either you're wasting your time working out.
After a workout I can go as high as 38g. carbs and 50g. protein. Granted I probably dont absorb that much protein but when I'm taking in 251g. of protein per day, I need to get it somehow...
