Gyms that ban certain lifts

I haven't been able to find a gym out there in my town that allows any sort of lifting
I was disappointed when I had the conversation with the gym owner and I asked them if we were allowed to do cleans and he said no because damage to the floor and equipment.
do any of you just do these types of lifts at home in your basement or should i just forget it altogether

you can set that up at home yes. i no longer do those types of lifts so it isn't important to me

i dont go to gyms for little girls, go to big man gyms where you can push heavy weights and drop them
