Why does everyone think Hummers are so great?

Everytime I see a Hummer roll up around here everyone is gawking at it like its a Ferrari or something. What's the big deal? Seems like an overpriced look at me I have a teeny-peeny mobile. Its funny how the guys I see in them are always business guys trying to look "rugged". Whatever.

Hell, all you guys on here drive trucks anyway. You probably love the Hummer.

I like the gov't issue hummers. got to drive those through all kinds of terrain, wet or dry. as far as the civilian ones? those suck. its like trying to make a bmx bike that much more comfortable

to think the mechanics of my unit deem it necessary for someone with no real mechanical skills such as myself had to change out ball joints, alternators, little ass gass filter that is fit in an UNGODLY to reach place

I like hummers because you can stand on the hood and not have a big ass crease in the middle when you step off. as far as maintenance goes, well I was a tank mechanic.

Its weird, same with Vipers. I like Vipers but they are somewhat crap. You see people stare at them but no one passes a second glance at the dickhead lawyer driving a 120,000 Mercedes. Maybe most people dont know what nice cars really cost. I would take a Ferrari Modena over a Mercedes that costs the same? Wouldn't you?
