My trainer is a big guy. He's really in shape and knows what he's talking about. Anyhow, my workout program has been working really well for me so he was going to try it with a new client. She told him that she had been lifting for a while. He asked her what her last lifting day was like. Not even kidding, she told him that she and her friend each did 3 reps, yes 3, of the bar on flat bench. AND they did 5 lb db curls, 10 on each arm. lol Can you FATHOM calling that a workout?? I guess it's better than people staying at home eating snickers and watching soaps, but that's pretty sad. I wonder how her face will look the first time she's on an incline bench...maybe then she'll feel something.
I take no offense to people who are clueless in the gym getting ripped on, as long as the entire female gender isn't accused of such nonsense.
