Tore my ACL i game last night....now what?

Look at it this way..........your ACL has nothing to do with your upper body. Finish your cycle & work around the injury.

Next thing...steroids don't do anything for your tendons...if it's a torn ACL you have......not should......have to see an Orthopedic Specialist.

Next.....while on steroids...don't ever.....though you will because ego gets the best of most people.....do single or double max's. Stay above 4 reps with good form. If you have to cheat for 4 reps.......it's an injury waiting to happen.
 
Yeh bro that sucks.I injured my knee in april.had a mri and it showed torn cartlidge.when the doc went in to fix it he saw the acl was torn but didnt show on the mri.now i had to rehab after the cartilide surgery,before he would fix the acl.luckily it happened at work and i get full pay.if anybody has had the surgery,how long was before u coulg start upper body workouts
 
Bro, Ive torn my left acl twice and my right once. The best advice I can give you is to focus on your therapy if you go with the surgery. I didnt the first time and thats why my left tore again. Now 10 months later Im bigger than I ever was and my legs are stonger than before. Good luck.

Yes i went to the orthopedic specialist today, im going to continue to lift upper body, im going to make it back for the last 3-4 games of my season.. thanks guys for help
 
Oh BTW.........I see an Ortho in Oct.....I blew my knee training with the Green Berets........fuckers killed me.

I completel Ripped my ACL. I couldn't do a squat for 2 years. I know from first hand experience what kind of pain you went through. Sorry to hear that and good luck!
