David Pearl... the guy who put together The Backstreet Boys and NSync hired AAP to buff up his new kid wonder senstaion. Their first album won't be out till October. It's titled: Our Trip To the Gay Beach.

Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken sing back up on the band's first single.

NICE!

LOL!!

Anyway,

I always feel weird at a new gym. I feel very uncomfortable. We joined a gym in January, but it wasn't set to open till Feb. So we started going to another gym, just for a month. I got so comfy there that I asked my husband to cancel the other membership. I love my gym!!! I actually feel comfortable grunting if need be at my gym. It took months for that to happen. :D

Freeballin - exactly how I feel.... a change of scenery does a body good.

Hellorhi20 - Well in a new gym, no one usually talks to you, so I have solitude to concentrate and enjoy what I am doing. Plus... as each gym doesn't have the same equipment, you may have to do a different workout with different exercises when you go... which is fun and helps shock your body.

yeah but i get nervous just thinking about not knowing where the hi-row is... :D

and trust me, i'm a freak magnet. i worked out at crunch in South Beach and the loonies lined up. i just wanted to tell 'em all to go f'k themselves but the place is so tiny and packed you've got a freak's elbow in your eye no matter what you do

read my other thread on how tiny this new gym was.

I am not kidding here... there were signs up saying... Please Practice Good Hygiene Because Otherwise It Can Be Distracting To Others. It was THAT tiny that you can't get 20 people in the place.

I love traning at new gyms. There is always a different feel to it. And all the regulars stands there staring, thinking "who the fuck is that?".

I was at a new gym today, one im thinking on working for, so i tried it out. Had a good shoulder/calves workout. And got a couple of girls digits, so i liked it.

Like going to a new gym once in a while to get out of the routine and people i see at my gym. Plus you can check out the hotties at the new location. In the end, you'll run into them at the club/bars anyways.

Sometimes when i go to a new gym, i get more worked up and adrenalin flowing more since i'm in unfamiliar territory.

I like the level of expectation I establish at a regular gym.

People remember my routine and so on. It's kind of nice. Feels like home. The use of the nod as greeting or acknowledgement. All the equipment I am planning to use is going to be there when I need it. I'm not forced to make substitutions which would set my progress back. If a girl or guy (for their own reasons) likes to watch me as I lift, it can be "scheduled" more easily. I can train others better. Travel time and convenience is a given. I can stumble blindly into the female bathroom/shower room/locker room after Squats without getting ejected, hearing their gigles as they watch with their towels and their cute panties while I throw water on my face and try to get enough oxygen.

You know, the usual.

For me changing gyms makes no difference. The only time it would bother me is if it has strange bars so I can’t find my grip widths.
