This policy, while well-intended, is misguided. That is true of so many things in politics.

Actions such as this serve only to attempt to erase history. This is bad. History is and should be a learning tool. This attempt at erasing and rewriting history will only guarantee we repeat it.

You also said somethng which had to be a mistake, or I am reading it wrong. In response to the Salami, you said that adults should be able to walk around in shirts with swastikas, etc, but "only in a public setting".

Last I checked the G-men can't come into my house and restrict what I wear.

To clarify what I was saying Matt: Of course, one can wear what he wants in his own home; I was referring to private schools-------private schools can restrict students from wearing anything they want.

The last time I checked the Constitution stated that we are allowed to wear what we want, where we want, and the same thing with our speach, and writings.

Screw this give up rights for the greater good. You know what just like Nat said, I moved outside the city to get away from the crime, the bullshit that happens in the schools so that my kids could concentrate on learning and being kids, not be subjected to beatings and poor education.

You know what so far our crime rate is fairly low where I am at, but I have already watched a teenage black male (yes, I said black male) kick a white kid half his age and size in the head and thought that was funny. I have some that are in a gang that moved into my neighborhood and that really pisses me off. I bust my ass to live in an area free of that shit and thanks to Clinton and the other bleeding liver liberals, I have to now put up with the very crap I tried to move away from.

There are things in life that offend everyone. It's just the Furbies that think they can get violent over it. These kids need to learn how to deal with it.
Also banning whitey's clothes will only create more tension. Maybe white kids should beat the hell out of Furby's for wearing FUBU.

There is a story on CBS tonight about how wealthy black Americans always request to be with other wealthy BLACK Americans when looking for a home. This is according to real estate companies. The question tonight is "Why are African Americans segregating themselves?" I wonder what the explanation to this "racist" story will be. And I didn't think any black man could be sucessful in this white mans world, hmmmmm, should be an interesting show, even the rich don't like white people.

as for my views, i think people should wear what they want because i couldn't care less to see a white person waving a confederate flag or wearing a simple tshirt. who cares and how does that effect me? the only problem i will have is if he comes directly to me to cause conflict. also, some of you should have noticed that the other side (black kids) was also attacked for wearing whatever shirt they want, but i understand you staying on your side and supporting.

the south is still to volatile, i dont feel it has caught up with the rest of the world by a long shot. it has a long way to go before a lot of the conflict is settled. just seems like an uncivilized region...almost primitive.

No, the reason this country lags is not because its a young country. It's general attitude like plifter expressed towards other races..we have degenerated to a level where same sex marriages bills are being passed, politicians are kissing up to those for votes, NOBODY is willing to try and do what's right. Too much NEGATIVITY.....NO PARENTING, NO RESTRAINTS ON nothing anymore.....ANYTHING goes. People here do not hold integrity, or respect, or morals as valuable things to have. Consequently, the divorce rate is high, crimes are more violent than ever, the government is more corrupt than ever....and it just trickles down. People hide behind the Constitution for rights to do and say ANYTHING. Lawyers and courts constantly try to circumvent the system with unethical tactics.....evidence is mysteriously lost, misplaced, or tainted. I feel fortunate to have lived in other places where there maybe less, but there is more thru the important things in life.....a whole lot of you should have to live somewhere else, and depend on something, or someone other than whoever, or whatever has gotten you to the point you are at NOW in your life. I'm not talking about visit other countries, I'm talking about live there.....for a few years....without the generational crutches, and the ears you have now, to hear your do-nothing mindsets. But then again, the attitudes that are on display here, they wouldn't be WELCOME in other countries. Of course racism is a global entity, but I can tell you this....Mid East allowed, it isn't boiling over intensely and the MAJOR daily conflict/stupidity-laced comments are not present. I guess pride and giving a shit about people left this country during Vietnam....with the dumbass moves by government leadership at that time. The saying shit rolls down hill rangs true here.....while it stinks wherever, the stench is worst here, because some people choose to wallow in it, and self-pity, and to kick others, even while they themselves are drowning in it....
