Stick with PP's and ram up the numbers if you want my thoughts on the matter.....

also, lol, I figured you'd either love the clean/clean pull/DL workout or run yourself into the ground with it, but you wanted to try it, lol....it is something that works well on a day of just pulls and nothing else......but yeah, do back to alternating cleans/clean pulls with DLs every other week, you felt good on that, no need to screw with it.

Actually....to further add to that, you'd be foolish not to keep push pressing, they're going up, push presses carryover to strict presses, but the reverse usually isn't true, and you can handle much more weight in a push press, and more weight = greater stimulus, which always = better.

lol... yah, ran into the ground for sure. It was like... my body saying "Uhhh no... put that down, you can't pick up any more heavy weight" lol... is that what CNS exhaustion feels like?

I remember being able to be an animal and do crazy "fluff" workouts... but the total fatigue that I experienced today and just not being able to pull anymore was something new.

Ok... I will keep pushing BTN Push Pressing.

The grip I used... forearms vertical (forming a upside down "T" with the floor..perpendicular)... I think greatly influenced my better form. I was gripping closer in previous workouts.. and therefore had to jerk it up more... well, that's my theory at least. Thoughts on the grip... or good to go because it's conformtable and I had great form?

Granted it's old... from when I was 170lbs... but last I remember I had at least 4 notches left in that bad boy, and it was easy to put on :rolleyes:

I've come to the conclusion that my morning concoktion needs to be analyzed closely... and other meal portions scaled back a bit. And the milk scaled as well.

I don't want to do cardio (even low intensity) because I want to keep pushing my PR's and be in the gym only 3 days a week.

DAMN my efficient body and adipose fat loving summamabitch.

P.S. My knees are bothering me tonight... more streching for them.
OH and I'm gettin' a new bed finally... hopefully that will help my damn back too.

i feel ya bro...did t-bar rows yesterday...and i noticed i couldn't go all the way on my belt like i usually do. i almost tore my anterior delt trying to gett he focker on....when i did find the hole :p i felt all the excess bodyweight i put on in the last month....what a horrible feeling. i know i got bigger but it's a little depressing....i feel ya on that bro. toss the milk out of your shake and use water instead...you still want to make your pr's so i wouldn't cut down too much on other things... :chomp:

Yeah, cutting DOWN ...not cutting out the milk. And not making the sugar loaded (fruit) shake I usually make in the a.m. now... my body just throws all that shit into fat :rolleyes:

For me... it's Power Cleans OR Deadlifts... for now.

ROFL! That was a crap load of pulling. You can get conditioned to it but that's a pretty sizeable workout bro, with BTN push pressing & squats. That's the workout of a champion. LoL That "runned over by a train feeling" is the logical outcome until you miracle up some more work capacity. LoL
