You're plenty warmed up to pull after power cleans and clean pulls....If I were you, I'd start deadlifting at 315 and just do 4 or 5 progressively heavy triples.

I totally agree w/ Biggt. You will be PLENTY warm if not a tad wrecked IMO. Looks like an ambitious day - I think you will do just fine especially if you switch to triples on the DL.

lol... recovering I thought. Heal up and hit the weights hard when you're 100% ... don't push recovery just to risk injury. Do legs, or something where you don't need to use the injured apendage.

:) :evil: I'm looking forward to the pain! lol...actually, hoping I make it out alive :worried: lol... it should be fun... Hoping I'm ready for it and see if I can go with it.. if not, i'll be friggin' toast in 2 weeks.

CRAP! I forgot... Power Cleans... 8 sets of 3 this week... still want to get the reps in, but don't want the degrading form to set in past rep 3...

I'll go for triples with less rest and more hand wiping... need to find chalk.

Maybe i'll sport my super cool wrist sweat bands to keep the arm sweat from going to my hands :supercool I'll make sure to wear my super tight under armour shirt and vertical stripe 80's red and black spandex shorts :rainbow: lol

You're probably already at the gym, but don't rush it...that's a crapload of volume. Good luck!

Oh... I was pretty quick in the begining... the Power Cleans slowed my ass RIGHT down, LOL! it was an eye opener workout... i'll tell ya that...

WEEK 6 DAY 2

Start Time: not sure... logged time after 2nd set of Squats: 5:53pm

Light ATF Squat Day
117x5
145x5
190x5
190x5

Standing BTN Military - gripped a tad wider than shoulder (forearms perpendicular to the floor/natural feel)... brought the bar to top of traps every rep.
90x5
105x5
117x5 (kiiiiinda tough, no way was I going to be able to muscle up the scheduled next weight strict... BTN Push Pressed the next set:)
145x5 (smooth as buttah... but Push Pressed) BTN PP PR :) ... but if I'm going to stick with Strict Military I gotta drop the weight...BOOO

I'd also like to note that Thanks to BiggT's recent numerous descriptions of the Push Press... I have it DOWN PAT now... I belive I was jerking it before on a few reps and didn't know it... I like them alot more now that I know I did that last set with perfect form and a PR for PP's... I can deffinetly keep increasing that lift... or switch to military... decisions, decisions...

Power Cleans
warm ups: 135x6, 145x5
152x3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3 lol... 8 sets of 3 :)
3rd set in my lumbars were SHOT ... took my freakin' time inbetween... sat down... day dreamed... ect..

Clean Pulls
190x3
225x3 (HOLY CRAP... lumbars toast... sat down... recooped for awhile... 5 minutes maybe.)
255x3 (Belted and strapped up... even gave myself more time after this and then my back felt fine... stoopid thing)
295x3 (NO belt :)... still strapped)

Deadlifts - strapped... sweaty palms... need chalk damnit!... Hmm... i wonder what I could hold onto if I had chalk..these bars are hardly even knurled... my shins just get red, they don't rip cuz the bars are smooth practically, lol... ok... ANYWAY...
315x3 ... wow, pretty exhausted here
345x1 ... friggin' DONE... just beat... the power cleans wiped me out... hang me up to dry... time to cash in my chips... time to pay the piper...
... embarrasing Deadlift workout, but I had to try it with the Cleans. :evil:

For me... it's Power Cleans OR Deadlifts... for now.

I had a feeling and thought that my "waist" was gettin' larger.

I KNEW i was getting softer...that's fine, but my man handles are coming back...fuckers...

Proven tonight by my lifting belt, lol... I had to crank that bad boy over, hard... only had like 1 notch left :worried:
Granted it's old... from when I was 170lbs... but last I remember I had at least 4 notches left in that bad boy, and it was easy to put on :rolleyes:

I've come to the conclusion that my morning concoktion needs to be analyzed closely... and other meal portions scaled back a bit. And the milk scaled as well.

I don't want to do cardio (even low intensity) because I want to keep pushing my PR's and be in the gym only 3 days a week.

DAMN my efficient body and adipose fat loving summamabitch.

P.S. My knees are bothering me tonight... more streching for them.
OH and I'm gettin' a new bed finally... hopefully that will help my damn back too.
