Busted out the measuring tape...

My upper legs (Quads/Hams) are + ~ 2 inches give or take a little bit, until I find the exact measure of when they were last measured!

Pretty cool... cuz my waist hasn't increased along with them.

Calves are proportionally increasing too... they're bigger than my bis/tris now, lol.. :rolleyes:

23" quad/ham ... ok, that makes it an even 2 inches :)
25" pegs now.

weight then: 190lbs
weight now: 210ish (haven't checked in a day or 2 though)

Damnit...sucks I don't have one more recent... cuz i haven't squated consistantly since forever... had that knee issue up until a few months ago. My point... I think this growth has happend in only 7- 8 weeks.

From reading others logs and whatnot... i've noticed that that's what i had to do from the start to tuck elbows... if i go shoulder width or even a tad wider i can't tuck properly. So i'm just documenting it now.

Close grip = anything < shoulder width, correct?

CGBP is a great teaching tool for form on a bench....and it gives me great carry-over.

On the grip, it is gonna depend on your body.....16" is pretty ideal for most athletes.....don't go so close that (a) it causes wrist discomfort and (b) it forces you to use weenie weights.

tomorrow's plan for Week 6 Day 2:

- Squat
...usual light squat day going up to 190x5

- Subing Military for Push Presses now

- Power Cleans 152x5x5 (regularly scheduled)

- Clean Pulls: 190x3, 225x3, 255x3, 295x3

- DL: 225x5, 280x5, 330x5, 350x5, 380x5

Now here's my question:

At the end of clean pulls... should I just load 315 and go from there on Deadlifts... or scale back to ramp back up with 5's... although I want to pull triples with deads now.... ideers?

Ok... yeah, i'm been close gripping the entire time then. Cool. Ok... just checked my 190x5 vid... looks wider than 16 on that one.. bah, i'll have to bust out a ruler, lol.

Yeah, i used to be one of the motards that did the side by side close grip hand thingy where balancing the damn weight was harder than pressing, lol.
