A caloric surplus causes muscle and fat gain; heavy lifting just ensures that more of that weight is the former rather than the latter. You know this. The jump in weight is probably just water, especially if "didn't exactly eat healthy" means having more carbs/sodium than usual (or higher estrogen levels from all those reverse flyes you've been doing ;)).

Congrats on a very successful six months of recovery and training.

I do triceps on Chest day. THis week's sched was fucked up, so I just got in workouts where I could. normally I'd do bi with back. I know it's a lot of curls, but a) my arms are WEAK and b) I figure I'd try an experiment of just blasting the bi's.

Didn't follow my normal sched this week but got all my workouts in. Need to be good this week with workouts cause I leave for Augusta, GA (The Masters) on Friday and don't return til April 10th. My sole focus down there will be to not be a fat pig. Not sure how much gym time I will find down there. We stay in private homes, so no hotel gyms around. I will try to find a gym in decent proximity, but Augusta is pretty much a shithole in the middle of nowhere. But for those 10 days or so, I will be surrounded by a TON of really good, really fatty fatpants, free food. Need to stay the course, KB.
