Quiet Storm; The Rebirth of KB - My recovery journal

7/3 update:

Last 3 weeks have been expected hell. Working 13-16 hour days to cover my ass for being outta work for a week on this cross-country trip. Combine that with packing up my entire life and that meant no energy, some sickness and no time for training. I've been driving 10 hours a day Sat, Sun and Mon, now stopped at a friend's place for a few days. Back is real tight from the drive, some major pain along the way. Last 2 days I've run a bit and stretched a ton. Will train again tomorrow and Th morning before heading out on the road again. I move in to my apt in San Diego on Sat. Start work again on Monday.

Best of wishes for the rest of the trip man. Just found out that one of my best friends is moving to SD at the end of July so I'll be down there at some point to visit. We'll have to beat up lestat or something when I'm there. Otherwise have a safe trip and take care of the back bro.

Made it to San Diego safely. Found myself a SICK gym (huge ass old school World Gym) with some intimidating large fuckers there. Thus, KB got inspired to stop fucking around and just lift.

This week will be a "get to know the gym" week and a "get your muscles used to working again after a layoff".

thanks my man. I tweaked it squatting. Fuckin warm up sets too. I miss the SHIT out of deadlifting and squatting, but I'm not ready just yet. :(
