This was an awesome time...steve mann ran a good contest. I met some great people including ben lambosis NY state strongman chairman.

To get right to it....I got first place AND set a pr on every single event. Lord_suston did awesome as well but I will let him tell you how he did. And when I get permission I will post his videos

Theres not much else to say besides each time i competed...even though it was only twice...i feel like i love the sport even more.

The day before I went up to visit my cousins who came down on contest day to watch me which was awesome of them.

I owe my success to the night before when I weighed myself and got a little bicep pump at the hotel "fitness center"...video is a must see

I weighed in at 169 today with shoes and clothes on after eating breakfast...I felt skinny as hell but I also felt strong.

Now for the events:

Truck pull: I've never did this before and ended up basically crawling LOL. Regardless...my time on this was 12 seconds...I dont care if i looked like fucking spider man

Farmers walk: Killer...they actually gave me the wrong weight and I didnt want to make a scene so I just said fuck it...i'll set a pr at least...and I did. 190 in each hand for 85 feet 1 turn. Was supposed to do 150.

Viking press: The viking press was really fun. We were allowed to jerk which was awesome. I set a huge pr of 175x5

Tire flip and sled drag medly: I set a major pr on this event. I felt good the whole time...no falling this time around. 36 seconds! pr

600+lb deadlift hold: VERY cool event...straps were allowed. This was rough on the lower back and TRAPS. I thought my traps were gonna rip off. Almost passed out...PR lol

I wouldn't be able to do alot of what i did today if it wasn't for my new found training partners who push me every step of the way. You can hear jerimiah in all of my videos yelling. Although hammer didn't get to make it i'm sure he would have been yelling just as loud. Also my friend tom who was actually competing today with me who helps me out with my routines and even drove to my house to help me out with form on everything. Also thanks to clint who let me practice for this contest while competing at his home.

For some random, non contest related funny stuff:

On the way home I stopped at taco bell and went to the bathroom...there was shit in a urnial...like a huge pile. I was laughing for the whole 3 and a half hour car ride hysterically. I mean honestly...WHO DOES THAT.

Its time to gain weight now...going to eat

my cousin still needs to send me her pictures that she took...i'll post those in a few min

Those farmers looked ridiciolously easy in comparison to the sunday's sessio and great job overall. What place did Suston take? Anyway great job, and I bet it wasnt really surprising that you got the first place given the time and effort you have put into your training.

dude...you did awesome man...keep up the hard work...dunno bout your weight but you look bigger than at bluegrass. hellova performance. that deadlift hold was insane
