Hammer Update - 11/23/03

Greetings. I have been all over the place as of late and unable to post like I used to. The hammie is coming along slowly. Lots of stretching and ice. Lots of it.

Here is the workout I did yesterday. I am 240 on the mark right now.

2" bar snatch shrugs
185-5
215-5
245-5*

2" bar shrugs
245-10
345-9
445-5*

2" rack deads (knee level)
445-6*

2" bar Kelso Shrugs
135-10 (3 sets)

2" bar Barbell Curls
135-5 (3 sets)

Looking at the 445 on the thick bar after shrugs I decided to rack deadlft it for reps. I had the pins set at knee level for all my sets of shrugs. My grip finally gave out at the peak of # 6. .

When I train for my grip it is really hard to do anything that is 10 sets of 10. I have to alter it for the goals I have now. My grip is always a priority.
