Auto-hyperlinking people's posts is a form of staff altering posts, regardless of whether it's manual or automated.

A) It was an issue then.

B) It's being done again now, albeit in a different manner.

I inquired as to its purpose and to see if there were any reasons that I was unaware of, or, you know, like, if one could form an argument against mine regarding past incidents.

And I still want to know why yahoo, of all places, is being auto-hyperlinked. Why? Because I've never seen it before. For all I know, EF's getting 'search engine benefits' or good money or something.
