Can we discuss the issue of EF staff editing people's posts?

Like, if I want to, like, rejoicefully exclaim yahoo! or something, then mention beta-2 antagonists like clenbuterol, why are my posts being edited?

Yeah, yeah... I know why. But my question is -- to what end? Why not mod-sponsors editing posts to link to their products, too? (Remember when Macro or whoever on the AAS board was doing that a couple years ago and people totally flipped out?)

BTW, can BRR talk George into buying LaTeX for the new vBulletin? All prestigious message boards are LaTeX-enabled nowadays. TYIA.

EDIT: I see the clen force-spam link is no longer working. Thanks for making me look stupid. (Honestly: how much is yahoo paying EF to link to them? I've never seen a site like that on workout/ergogenic boards.)

Neh I think ortize showed spirit and His heart was deff in it from the start. The others were all like meh. Gave the shortest answers they could or just used the debate to take shots at the site like samoth did.

Clear cut winner of this one was ortize.

why does it bother you so much that a word in your post becomes a link. If the word still stays the same the meaning of your post does not change.

Just one more thing to cry about right?

I mean its just huge right? Its like a big major major problem that the site might be able to make a little money of a post. Or a sponsor make a customer of your post. Even though every one and there brother still knows exactly what you are saying.

Even though it does not change your post in any way other then making a word a link. You Just can't be ok with that?
