So if you watched someone beat a friend or family member like this to near death after say you got hit over the head and were being held down and made to watch, you had access to a gun, just not when you were being held, you would not shoot the fucker after they let up and ran? I might shoot them out of emotion. Or I might instantly run over to my friend and administer first aid, therefore increasing their chances of SURVIVING the attack. I'm sure someone would feel very protected around YOU, while you chased after a madman as they proceeded to stop breathing. Do you know how important a single minute is after someone has stopped breathing, or after their heart has stopped, or if they are bleeding to death? But hey, at least you got your revenge. I'm sure your friend's family will line up to suck your enormous cock.

But again, either way, if I shot the guy, IT WOULD NOT BE SELF DEFENSE. It would be murder. The fact that it was fueled by emotion doesn't change that, it only solidifies the fact that its still--duh--revenge.

I am not saying that what she did was or was not justified. I am only arguing that I CAN SEE why she behaved the way she did.

Also - just wondering. She had sustained pretty bad head injuries. Could her vision and motor skills have been affected enough where she would have "missed" when aiming at her assailant? Meaning, perhaps she didn't mean to shoot the guy in the head. But whether or not he intended to kill her I think is not so much a question.

1) And I can see why authorities behaved the way they did.

2) I agree, that is totally plausible. And up to a judge and jury to take into consideration. I think its also plausible that a woman kill her own children cause she's fucked in the head, but the services of a psychiatrist are still needed to determine such a fact. Perhaps if she didnt avoid interviews with authorities a court trial would not be necisarry for her to give her account and expet testimony in her favour, no?

What about temporary insanity defense. I mean if someone just beat me about half to death it was make you very angry. I remember once I got punched in the nose by this dude when I didn't do anything. I remember that I wanted to kill him never wanted kill anybody in my life more than him but I just couldn't see because of all the blood coming out of my nose.

Because less than 10% of instanity defense pleas are successful, and they are just as likely to end you up in a mental institution for several years as they are free to walk the streets.
