The "45X cals" gauge is more directed to pro bodybuilders, not the everyday one.

yeah nice article man with good points but, really, 45 cals per pound? Unreal, I weigh 220 so I would have to eat almost 10'000...sorry I am not a billionare and my stomach cant handle it.
 
i agree with the 45cals/per lb of bodyweight thing. 8000cals per day will be a challange even for the pros, also while running shit loads of gear fat gain will be very extreme, your workouts will suffer due to lethargy experienced while consuming such calorie dense diet.
