British Man Denied Parole, Ruled "A Threat to Burglars"

This story has cause outrage here in UK as he was defending his property.

The two people breaking in were from a local travelling family nad have hence put a ''copntract'' on Tony Martins head which is some of the reason why he has protection.

I have to agree totally fucked up nearly as bad as the USA stance on AAS!!!!!!!!! at least we got that nearly right here in the UK LOL

Wrongun!

The guy who did not get killed was a drug dealer and had not had a job for years and applied for compensation for loss of earnings.

They won't investigate burglaries?

They don't investigate burglaries in the US unless they already have a suspect or there is violence involved. They'll take the report and that's about it.

I hate to break it to you guys, but in most states if you shoot someone that breaks into your house and they are not a direct threat to your life, the same thing will happen. I just read a story not too long ago about a guy that had a pit bull that he kept in his backyard, some idiot jumped the fence to rob the guys house, the dog mangled him. Not only did the owner have to give up the dog to be killed, he also had to pay the medicals bills of the idiot that jumped his fence. Why? Becuase he did not have a "beware of dog" or "No trespassing" sign on his property.

that's why you shoot to kill when someone breaks in. dead people don't tell their side of the story.

like those japanese tourists who stopped to ask for directions in texas and got shot for the trespass...the shooter didnt do time as the courts believed him when he said he believed he was defending his property. the victim wasn;t around to argue his side of the case as he was 6ft under

as for the inherited office....i hope they never get rid of it.....its useful to have a check to the house of commons, because of late the so called elected dickheads are always trying to push fucked up legislation (terrorist laws etc) and the lords are always pulling on the reigns (sunset clauses)

so government is trying to get rid of them.

There was also the case of Ken Knoyle who shot an undercover cop on his land. He was judged as protecting his property and maintained a free man (until he stabbed someone in a road rage incident)

Wrongun!

Wouldnt be convicted if I sat on his jury! The Founding Fathers of this country believed in jury nullification of unjust or stupid laws; more people should be aware of that.
