6 plates on the bar

the funny thing is that when you get to the point where you can move that kind of weight you have to start using the compact kilogram plates that weigh more, or 100 pound plates, and the whole glory thing is out the window

People train for decades to deadlift or squat that kind of weight, and people here proclaim they can do it after 2-3 years? Interesting

My point being is that its not realistic

Why would you say that?

I know someone who has been lifting for 2 1/2 years that pulls 500lbs. This person has only been deadlifting about half of that time.

Would it be so unrealistic that this person could pull 600 in 3 1/2 years time lifting?

Depends on how strong you are pre-trained. I'm a natural wimpy girly-man strength wise. Took me many years to get where I'm at. Bubba Ray Jim Bob may be able to walk up & pick up 500 right off the bat. I could see how someone could do it in a few years.

as long as they were big wristered. LOL

ive been training for over 5 years now, i got 455, almost nailed 500, watch my vid. I dont see why i couldnt get 6 a side and a few more by the end of next year ( about 6.5 years training ) with a proper diet and trainng.
