Yates told police her son ran when she rose from the tub. She recalled chasing him through the house and dragging him back to the bathroom, where she drowned him alongside his sister, the investigator said.

I don't know what sickens me more...the act itself or the excuses I hear people giving on her behalf. Bleeding heart liberals yet once again.
We can name all sorts of things that could drive a person to do something like that: chemical imbalances, syndromes, societal pressures, etc. The fact is that there are millions of other people around the world who have it as tough as she did and never resort to doing something as evil as this.
She can have all the M.O.'s in the world and it will never stand for anything. None of use will ever know what went on in that sick head of hers. So any explanation is pointless speculation. She's sick yes, and her untreated sickness cost the lives of those kids. If there is any leniency towards her then we might as well go lenient on drunk drivers who kill innocent victims because the alcohol was the precipitating factor. No way. Give her the needle in my book. Let her tell her story to God as fast as the law allows. He's the real judge anyhow.

Well the father is from my hometown, went to my high school and he's "stand up" all the way! Great guy, and I hope everyone keeps him in your prayers, but he seemed so composed in the interview yesterday, I think hes still in shock/denial and it hadnt hit home yet.

Take the slut and kill her period. I don't care if she had ADD, PMS, Post partum depression, lost money at the casino, there is no excuse and no fucking use for people like this in society. And if this person was my own relative even my Grandmother i would want the bitch dead period!!
And who cares about motive, she killed her kids one by one then called the cops, gimme a break. And I think any lawyer or doctor who gets up and says with a straight face that she is some 'victim of circumstance" or whatever should be hung by the nuts as well.
I feel bad for the father because no matter what happens in this situation he is the one that is ulimately fucked, not her, us or anyone else except him.

I'm the exact opposite of a bleeding heart liberal. I'm just saying that the judicial system has laws in place to protect people with mental deficiencies. The jury will decide if she had a mental deficiency, so we will see.
I just heard she has a court appointed attorney so who knows. I guess we will find out a couple years from now when the trial is over.
I can't even imagine what he's going through. I mean, one day you leave work and kiss your wife and babies goodbye and then the next thing you know your entire house is empty! I'd lose it, no doubt. The man must have his head and wits about him better than just about anyone I know. If it had been me they would've found me climbing the walls and claiming to be Napoleon.
She'll plead guilty to something and get sentenced to life without parole.
Once imprisoned, she will suffer a similar fate as Jeffrey Dahmer.
