Many of our nation's problems is rooted in a failed healthcare system that has failed to recognize the mental problems of so many of our citizens. The solution does not lie in retribution, but in understanding why some people do the things they do.

It is very unlikely that this poor woman just woke up one day and said, "oh today, I'm going to kill 5 of my children...."

Thus far, retribution has done nothing to advance this nation's problems.........

THE REAL SOLUTION LIES IN HEALTHCARE---BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL---FOR ALL AMERICANS. I bet that alot of these problems would begin to decline....

She had to think about it a lot, and go through the course to carry out those murders. THERE IS NO FUCKING EXCUSE FOR WHAT SHE DID!!!!! THERE IS HELP AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH PROBLEMS LIKE THAT. we put people to death based on the motive of the murder. Can you expliain the motive here? Why would a mother want to kill her 5 children?? there is no motive, she was mentally unstable.

Every heard of "pleading insanity" People are given light punishments based on this defense, and this is EXACLTY what will happen, there is no other explanation for these murders. She was insane/out of her mind at the time of the murders, she was not responding to medication. Her brain was simply not functioning normallyand she will not be executed because of it.
