You know, A person like that woman should be ashamed of even breathing. I really hope that someone tortures the bitch. How can you do that to your own children 1 by 1. I hope they give her the death penalty by electric chair but we all know that there is no more of that. Bullshit if there going to rule her into a nut house. Fuck that pisses me off, I can't even begin to image If those were my children, or family members.
It discusses me to even listen to why she did it. That woman deserves to be hung, or to die slowly very painfully. as a mother I feel sorry for the dad

It's very strange that we as a society have evolved to give the "Aftermath interview" to the public after a tragedy strikes.

No matter what the tragedy, it's as if they put aside the tragedy to get themselves in-front of a camera to relay the tragedy they have just endured.

I'm thinking about the father of the five kids and the kids from a host of school shootings, etc.

whats all this talk about motive? where did that come from? the way i see it she systematically killed each of her little kids one after another. why should 5 little kids die and she not be put to death? i couldnt care less if someone is considered to be menally challenged when committing a crime. as long as there is a victim then the person should be punished the same as anyone else.

imagine chasing your niece/nephew down, grapping em, dragging em to the bathroom, putting em in the bathtub, holding em down, watching life faint from those eyes, lifting the limp lifeless body out, dragging it across the house into another room, and doing this again and again.

I dont give a shit if she is fucked up in the head or not. I would let her loose in the desert with meat strapped onto her, then let 50 hungry pitbulls loose and let her die slowly.. Actually there is no punishment for what she has done.. I just hope god deals with her correctly.

There is a condition called "munchasen by proxy" which causes a perfectly normal, caring mother to hurt her children out of need for attention. Like it or not, the brutal, horrific act that has happened to these children goes deeper than just some "crazy bitch" killing her children.

You can sugar coat "conditions" all you like. Many conditions are made up to cover up for people inadequacies is life. In which her's was she was fucking nuts...

Everyone close to her has stated that she was a very loving, caring mother to her children until this unfortunate event happened---and that what has happened does not fit her personality.

The same was said about Jeffery Dahmer and Ted Bundy...

It's time we, as a society, get to the real heart of what causes some people to do the things they do. Fast injections and flipping the electric switch takes us nowhere but to REVENGE and only encourages the problems, instead of curing them.

How do you think everyone originates their evil? Until they commit an atrocity like this how will they be noticed? Should everyone in society go under a mental analysis? Once you get your head out of the clouds you will know that the only true deterrent against violent crimes is punishment of some sort. We already know that people that commit these crimes are fucked up. Tell me how knowing if you murder someone that you will die yourself will encourage anyone to murder???



Part of the reason we have these problems is because of a disconnect in society---a feeling for some that no one cares, that they are alone in the world.

You haven't walked in this woman's shoes. Likely, she has a biological, psychological condition. Of course, what she has done is tragic, but the poor woman needs help, instead of an EXECUTIONER.....

You cannot ignore one's mental health in getting to the heart of why people do what the do....

Of course her behavior is unjustifiable, but preventing others from doing similar acts in the future requires a better understanding of what compelled her to committ these atrocious acts.....

She then began drowning her 6-month-old daughter, Mary. After her 7-year-old son walked in and asked "What's wrong with Mary?" she chased him through the house and dragged him back to the bathroom, where she drowned him next to the infant.

The Dallas Morning News reported in its online edition Friday that Yates told police she had been thinking for several months about killing the children.

"She essentially said she had realized that she was a bad mother and she felt that the children were disabled - that they were not developing normally," an official familiar with details of the taped confession told the newspaper, speaking on condition of anonymity. "She told us that she had thought about doing this for several months."

Let's see... PREMEDITATED... INTENTIONAL... UNJUST taking of human life. Isn't that first degree murder, RyanH? Hmm... 5 counts of it? She's not guilty though, cause she allegedly has a little "condition." I'm sure her little "condition" has a special symptom that, in addition to "making" her kill her 5 children, makes her wait several months to do so.
