I've never not used IE. Never understood all that proprietary shit... what's the competition offer that IE doesn't have? (To me, nothing; hence why I never changed.)
stability, less memory usage and no 9 GAZILLION HOLES AND EXPLOITS TO INSTALL SPYWARE, VIRUSES, TROJANS in your computer.
I'd be scared shitless to go through your system and see all the hijackings thats been going on. You must love guys from russia having full access to your computer.

I really don't do much when browsing, though. Dictionaries, encyclopedias, Mapquest, Scottrade, vBulletin, a grad school board, .edu sites, email, imageshack/clicking on pictures here... I don't really go to sketchy places. Then again, I don't know how easily looking at, e.g., a friend's Myspace/Facebook profile, tinypic or similarsuch affects my computer's security.
My only virus problem in the last year has been the VISTA VIRUS. And for some annoying reason, I can't seem to get rid of this damned thing.

I just tried safari yesterday (the iPhone dealio) Was pretty cool the way you can put different pages on the screen I will play wth it some more tomorrow after I polish all BM's shoes and arrange her closet.

Unlike you I am more concerned with how I affect EVERYONE in the here and now, in person and on the internet than what happens after I am dead because if I live my life right, my affect on EVERYONE I encounter will have be positive or at the very least benign.
