This is so fucking true, that its almost depressing! I didn't go to gym for a month or so, decided to check it...just to meet up with some old friends. I hit the military press, before I could do 145 lbs for 4 reps clean, now I can bearly do 125 for 5 reps! And the sorness is freaking unbelievable, the next day I couldn't lift my arms, and couldn't turn my neck sideways. So if you are going to gym have a long hiatus, don't go all hardcore the first day. Otherwise you will be regreating it the next day.
This is very true and very good advice. Go easy on you first week back.
